The SAVE Shoreditch Campaign presents a pre-Christmas selling exhibition of amusing and acerbic observations of clientele that frequent the area’s restaurants, created by two established London-based illustrators, Anna Magnowska and Laura Quick. These keenly observed portraits offer a rare insight into the view from the other side of the counter; at times stringent and at times touching – but always witty – Laura and Anna have turned the tables on some of the bumptious punters they served during their time as waitresses in and around Shoreditch. Over 30 pieces on show will be for sale, with prints starting at just £50 and signed originals up to £250 with a percentage of each transaction going to the SAVE Shoreditch Campaign.
